Sales & Marketing

Watch a Video About Our Sales & Marketing Internship

Following up with current and future leads for our products and services
You will represent the Shumaker Technology Group at local business networking groups.
You will help prepare for and exhibit at trade shows (Occasionally working outside of standard business events)
Leading meetings, webinars, and in person demonstrations of the capabilities of our products.
Developing advertising and marketing campaigns targeted to specific audiences that will result in new leads.
Executing mailing campaigns to promote Shumaker Technology Group’s presence at trade shows.
Reaching out to our current clients to make sure everything is going well for them and attempt to solicit repeat business.
Maintaining our social media presence.

Web Development

Developing custom websites for our clients.
Maintaining, enhancing, and upgrading websites for existing clients.
Building databases for the back end of some websites, which requires some level custom programming.
Basic graphic design skills (Cropping, resizing, whiting out logos, etc.)
Meeting with clients to determine goals, details, and the vision for your projects.
Using WordPress, combined with HTML and CSS, to build fully custom websites.
Working with back end software (MySQL, PHP, Cpanel, etc).
Utilizing other technology such as Javascript, jquery, AJAX, XML, and JSON.

Graphic Design

Working with the Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Creating fully custom mockups for client website projects, adapting to each client’s individual needs.
Basic graphic design functions such as cropping, resizing, and making vector icons/buttons.
Designing and creating marketing materials for Shumaker Technology Group and our clients. This includes flyers, brochures, postcards, trade show marketing, etc.
All internal design will adhere stylistically to the company branding guidelines
Creating logos, business cards, digital marketing materials and other branding essentials.
A familiarity with video shooting and editing is preferred.
